Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de ss titres fr comme c’était le cas sur King Kong par ex, ça ne sent pas bon pour une édition française non?

Effectivement, quand ça doit sortir chez nous, le disque UK est le plus souvent "prêt" pour la France aussi. Il y a des exceptions, mais c'est par exemple une spécificité territoriale (comme la coupe sur Angel Heart pour se caler sur la législation britannique).

Le visuel n'est pas laid. Mais j'ai l'impression que c'est celui d'un autre film...
Il manque Christopher Lee avec son horrible pullover couleur moutarde.

Lorsque StudioCanal était aussi le détenteur des droits en France,il y avait des STF même pour des titres non sortis chez comme en UHD comme l'excellente aventure de Bill&Ted cependant et effectivement ce n'est plus systématique comme the wicker man donc mais aussi la taupe et the ladykillers dont les droits en France sont aussi chez StudioCanal.

Midsommar qui s’inspire de the Wicker man qui lui même s’inspire de Midsommar pour le visuel. C’est de bonne guerre. Et j’adore les deux films qui sont au final très différents.

THE RESTORATION This restoration was scanned in 4K by Silver Salt Restoration UK, from the original 35mm negative. A second generation 35mm intermediate positive produced in 1973 was used to replace a small section with unrepairable damage in the original negative. The additional footage is sourced from 35mm prints, which are the only known sources for this material. Colour grading and restoration were completed by Silver Salt Restoration UK who dedicated over 500 hours to fix physical damage to the 35mm negative, manually clean and remove dirt, sparkle and scratches. The colour grade used was previously approved by Robin Hardy and replicated here.
