Et si visuellement Natural City est plutôt joli, ses scènes d'actions sont toutes complètement illisibles. C'est un gros bordel chaotique sans queue ni tête des plus pénibles.

Adaptation de Substance Mort de K.Dick: A Scanner Darkly

la BA très space au niveau du graphisme.
Le film est filmé en live et totalement retravaillé sur ordi.
JE ne sais pas trop quoi en penser, mais peut être que cela ira parfaitement avec l'atmosphère et thème du livre sur la drogue et la paranoia. Mais je trouve ça un peu laid tout de même.

J'en suis resté au 1er, qui ne m'a absolument pas fait rire... du coup, j'ai zappé le 2... mais comme j'ai vu que l'équipe changeait sur le 3, et qu'en plus, la BA, pour le coup, m'avait fait marrer, j'avais l'intention de le tenter... je suis malgré tout étonné qu'on arrive à un n° 4...

February 2, 2006 - Russian award winning animator Genndy Tartakovsky has been signed to direct 'Power of the Dark Crystal', the much anticipated and long awaited sequel to the 'Dark Crystal'. Genndy is well known for his work on , Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Dexters Laboratory, and Samurai Jack. The film will once agin be a co-production with Henson and the Orphanage. Annette Duffy has collaborated with "The Dark Crystal‘s" screenwriter David Odell on the script. Lisa Henson, co-chief executive officer of the Jim Henson Co., will produce with Orphanage chairman Scott Stewart. Brian Froud has returned to design the new characters. Exec producers will be Brian Henson with Ralph Kamp and Louise Goodsill of Odyssey Ent.

Tartakovsky's and Orphanage Animation Studios will incorporate live-action animatronic characters into the film. Legendary fantasy artist Brian Froud, designer of the original film, will return to design the new characters. Odyssey Ent. is representing worldwide sales and distribution on the film.

Set hundreds of years after the events of the first movie when the world has once again fallen into darkness, the story follows the adventures of a mysterious girl made of fire who, together with a Gelfling outcast, steals a shard of the legendary Crystal in an attempt to reignite the dying sun that exists at the center of the planet.

Tartakovsky said, "The original DARK CRYSTAL was one of the most inspirational and imaginative pictures of its time, so it's a real honor for me to be able to bring the world of THE DARK CRYSTAL to a whole new generation."

Ralph Kamp and Louise Goodsill commented, "The original film remains a classic and it's an honor to add POWER OF THE DARK CRYSTAL to our strong family line up. With Genndy and Orphanage Animation Studios joining The Jim Henson Co., the final creative elements are in place, and we know Berlin will be busy for us as we start the process of bringing this long-awaited sequel to its many fans around the world."
