Concernant l'intégrale Bergman, quelles seraient les raisons de préférer le coffret BFI au Criterion (hormis la facilité d'acquisition) ?
Et les raisons de faire le choix inverse ?

D’après un msg sur br.comn(ce qui confirme ce que j’ai lu ça et là): My very simplified take on Criterion or BFI for Bergman is that the Criterion set has more extras but the BFI generally has better presentation of the films. Criterion has more films, but BFI has the ‘major’ works (and a few exclusives not in the Criterion set).
Bergman completists are going to want both (or at least the Criterion + BFI vol. 1). If you’re new to Bergman, try a BFI volume (2 or 3 would be my recommendations) and see how it goes.

Il était un père sera logiquement la même restauration.
Gosses de Tokyo a aussi été récemment restauré en 4K, cette restauration ayant été présentée au TIFF en octobre 2023.
