Rick Blaine a écrit :J'insiste sur la présence dans #3 de Section d'assaut sur le Sittang, magnifique film de guerre.
Tu m'intrigues: un peu plus d'info?
Quant aux autres films du coffret, que valent-ils? Merci!
"In a sense, making movies is itself a quest. A quest for an alternative world, a world that is more satisfactory than the one we live in. That's what first appealed to me about making films. It seemed to me a wonderful idea that you could remake the world, hopefully a bit better, braver, and more beautiful than it was presented to us." John Boorman
Never Take Sweets est top. Un joli procédurier autour de la pédophilie dans les années 60, fait pas pas mal de soin (sauf le final très con). Cash on Demand a bonne réputation.

Excellent choix (bis).

We pride ourselves on championing great British cinema and, as part of this ethos, 18 March 2019 will see the release of our first INDICATOR restorations. Scanned in 4K from the original negatives, our presentations of THE TRIPLE ECHO and IMMACULATE CONCEPTION mark a new development in the INDICATOR range which will ensure that even more unjustly neglected gems will appear on Blu-ray for the first time ever.
March’s selection starts with Anthony Mann’s stylish and gripping spy thriller A DANDY IN ASPIC (1968), starring Laurence Harvey (Room at the Top, The Manchurian Candidate) and Mia Farrow (Rosemary’s Baby, Secret Ceremony), and John Dexter’s screen adaptation of Leslie Thomas’ notorious THE VIRGIN SOLDIERS (1969), starring two of British cinema’s biggest stars of the time, Lynn Redgrave (Georgy Girl, The Deadly Affair) and Hywel Bennett (Twisted Nerve, Percy). Next, our first two restorations of 2019, both scanned in 4K from the original negatives: Michael Apted’s uniquely powerful THE TRIPLE ECHO (1972), starring the great Oliver Reed (The System, The Damned) and Glenda Jackson (Women in Love, Sunday Bloody Sunday), and finally Jamil Dehlavi’s sumptuous and unsettling IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (1992), starring Melissa Leo (21 Grams, The Fighter), James Wilby (Maurice, Gosford Park) and one of India’s most celebrated stars, Shabana Azmi (Ankur, The Chess Players).
