Les visuels des Kurosawa ne sont pas super, je trouve. J'espère quand même que criterion vont assurer pour Sanjuro, et offrir le film dans son format original.

Deux réédition ?

En tout cas, l'occasion se présente pour moi de les voir.

Ce sont surtout les deux colts sur Yojimbo qui m'étonnent un peu.

Ok, Nakadai a un flingue dans le film, mais bon...

Il s'agit du film dont A fistfull of dollar de Leone est le remake non ?

Oui en effet K-chan... et personnelement je prefere acheter ceux-la pour qu'ils aillent bien avec Seven Samourai... vu que les coffrets ont changé chez Criterion.

Ils ont donc vraiment changé l'identité graphique de leurs jaquettes... la nouvelle n'est pas géniale ! Le petit filet CRITERION, c'était à la fois simple et classieux.

C'est à cause des copieurs de Wildside ?

Dommage.

J'aime beaucoup le nouveau coffret de Seven Samourai pour ma part.

Celle de Yojimbo était bien je trouve (au niveau technique)

Elle était très perfectible : non anamorphique, partiellement recadrée, générique en anglais et enfin trop lumineuse à mon goût (notamment pour les scènes supposées se dérouler de nuit). Lien vers mon comparatif Criterion vs Z4.

Il ya deux films avec Karloff à priori.
Mais on a l'impression qu'on est un peu dans le "comment vendre des fonds de catalogue en misant tout sur le packaging". Non ?

Oui j'avoue, la différence est tres remarquante...
