Ah làlala j'ai loupé le fil pour essayer d'aider Ratatouille (mais il s'est très bien débrouillé) ! Non mais il a raison, heureusement qu'il est encore là Papy Williams parce que à part Giacchino Desplat ou quelques exceptions, la vraie musique de film symphonique ça manque

Et pour continuer dans nos moments Star Wars préférés, voilà sans doute pour moi celui que je préfère de toute la saga :
A 5mn06, le thème du "Hyperspace". Fantastique !
Ou bien encore ça :
Tout ce morceau est absolument fantastique (bis), que ce soit la reprise en intro de la marche de Vador en mode brutal, puis l'accélération du tempo à 1mn20...et enfin ce nouveau thème lancé en fanfare à 2mn18. Vraiment.....fantastique, quoi.
De toute façon, ce score est le meilleur de la saga, et dans mon top 5 Williams.

Pareil, je ne m'en lasse pas. J'écoutais le CD en boucle quand j'étais gosse (à l'époque c'était le pauvre CD 10 titres de 4 minutes en moyenne - 3:48 seulement pour la fameuse "Battle In The Snow" )
Au moins il y avait "The Asteroid Field", mais pas de "The Imperial Probe/Aboard the Executor", "City in the Clouds" et bien entendu, pas le "Rescue from Cloud City/Hyperspace"... Qu'est-ce que j'ai pu fantasmé sur un CD complet à l'époque... Ça et les deux Batman d'Elfman en entier (chose également faite depuis peu).
Major, concernant les années 2000 de Williams (que je trouve d'ailleurs un peu inégales, avec de vrais grandes compositions et d'autres plus pépères), as-tu écouté en intégralité son score pour Harry Potter et le Prisonnier d'Azkhaban ? Je trouve que c'est une vraie réussite, inspirée, dense et diversifiée. D'ailleurs j'aime également beaucoup sa B.O. pour Harry Potter & the sorcerer's stone.

C'est le 3ème, c'est ça? Harry Potter et moi heu... Eh bien j'ai vu le film (de loin le seul qui m'ait plu dans ce que j'ai vu) mais je n'ai pas dû faire attention à la BO (c'est déjà bon signe, en général la musique de Williams me sort d'un film depuis Soldat Ryan donc). J'écouterai à l'occasion.

Like many Williams main themes, Superman's signature tune is built around two killer elements — a brass fanfare that suggest the character's Olympian qualities and a more spirited theme that embodies his comic book heroism without ever descending into pulp. It is the benchmark that any superhero theme must reach — Bryan Singer understood this and just borrowed it wholesale for Superman Returns
