To all fans of Michael Mann's THE KEEP (1983) there will be an extensive documentary of the making of this movie coming out this year from Stewart Buck, filmmaker/historian. Unfortunately he has NO idea about any kind of DVD release for the movie itself. But this doc he has finished should be the end all and be all on the making of this movie. Formal announcement of it will take place in the Spring.

In February 2011, myself & French artist Stephane Piter undertook a mammoth task to document one of the great lost films of the past 30 years. In that time, we have collated hundreds of exclusive interviews, archive material and location footage to help preserve the importance of THE KEEP in director Michael Mann's career. We believe it to be one of the most comprehensive retrospectives undertaken on a single film, utilizing both the digital wave of delivery and the newly innovative 360 video process.

Still in production, we're currently working hard to finish the documentary this year and announce the first phase of our journey in the Spring of 2013. Look out for these developments and all other news via the links below in the coming months.
